When you’re talking to someone, you want to know that they’re really listening to you. Did you know that our God wants us to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that He hears us when we speak to Him? Those words “He has inclined His ear to me” emphasize that He’s completely focused His attention on us. It’s important to Him that we know that…that He loves and cares for each of us that much…and He’s listening to our every word!
Psalm 116:1-2
1 I love the LORD, because He hears my voice and my supplications. 2 Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.
