As the seasons are once again changing from winter to spring, many of us who live in areas where that change is very vivid and remarkable are reminded that our Creator God is the One responsible for every aspect of the marvelous transformation we watch from day to day…all of the beauty in all that changes. The hymn writer, Thomas Chisolm, reminds us that, “summer and winter, and springtime and harvest…join with all nature in manifold witness,” to our God’s great faithfulness, mercy and love. For that, and so much more, let us praise God and ascribe to Him the glory due His Name.
Psalm 104:24, 30-31
24 O LORD, how many are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your possessions…30 You renew the face of the ground. 31 Let the glory of the LORD endure forever; Let the LORD be glad in His works.
Psalm 29:1-2
1 Ascribe to the LORD, O sons of the mighty, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in holy array.
“Great God, as seasons disappear,
And changes mark the rolling year,
Thy favor still doth crown our days,
And we would celebrate Thy praise.” ~ Edmund Butcher
The Lord bless you and keep you…
