Whether it’s a matter of years, or months, or even just yesterday…it’s all “past tense.” We can’t change the past.  We must not live in the past.  There is no point to it.  But, we have Jesus…and, in Jesus, there is definitely a point to “today,” and we do have a promised future, and, as believers in Jesus, a great destination called “Heaven”…”Home!”  So, leave the past behind…and press on in the great adventure of the journey Home!

Philippians 3:13-14

13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
