Christian: Stay the course!  Don’t lose your focus! That focus is Jesus and the priority of His great cause!  Obviously, the things that are happening around us…in our world, and in our nation, are important to us, but we cannot allow ourselves to become obsessed and distracted by them.  Our God is in control of all of that!  He compels us to keep our focus on His Son, and to be about His “business”…His calling…His mission…for our lives.  We have been enlisted by Him, in His service, so…let’s stay the course and keep His focus our focus!

Mark 16:15

And Jesus said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

Colossians 3:1-3

1 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

2 Timothy 2:4

No soldier in active service [under Christ Jesus] entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the One who enlisted him as a soldier.
