There’s a lot of resistance going on all around us these days.  What ever it is that you may find yourself resisting, make sure that it’s not God.  We’ve got to make sure that we are, first, carefully submitting ourselves to Him through what He has revealed to us concerning Himself, and His ways, and His work, and His will, in His Word.  Trust Him completely.  Submit to Him fully.  Then, what we need to resist will be made clear by Him, and we must resist all that is not of Him, because it is of Satan.

James 4:7

7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
