The other day I was reminded of a one word prayer that we pray. It’s a word that God actually loves to hear. It’s a very humble…very simple request. It’s the word “help.” God loves to hear that one word from our lips to His ears. It’s such a simple, uncluttered request and, the truth is, we should probably utter it far more often than we do…and sooner than we do. So…humble yourself and ask Him…your Helper…for help.
Psalm 54:4
Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.
Psalm 121:1-2
1 I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
Isaiah 41:10
Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
“Show the world that your God is worth ten thousand worlds to you. Show rich men how rich you are in your poverty when the Lord God is your helper. Show the strong man how strong you are in your weakness when underneath you are the everlasting arms.” ~ Charles Spurgeon
The Lord bless you and keep you…
