Did you know that it matters to God, the Father, how He is worshipped? He’s looking for those who will worship Him, as Jesus said, in “spirit” and in “truth.” Is that how you worship Him? Consider Dr. Lutzer’s words below as you evaluate and answer this important question.

John 4:23

Jesus said…”But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.”

“Worship is not an external activity precipitated by the right environment. To worship in spirit is to draw near to God with an undivided heart. We must come in full agreement without hiding anything or disregarding His will…We must [also] worship in truth. Worship is not just an emotional exercise but a response of the heart built on truth about God. “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth” (Psalm 145:18).
